ecoSHIELD is a multifunctional 2-component epoxy coating, which is harmless to the environment and to people. ecoSHIELD is suited to various applications in the shipping industry such as in ballast tanks, cargo holds, in fuel, chemical and drinking water tanks, etc. and offer long-term protection. In these sectors, products are required which is adhesion, corrosive resistant, vapour tight and waterproof, hard, smooth, flexible, wear resistant, impact resistant, resistant to chemicals and durable.

Toxic free

The advantages for the user are the human friendly aspects such as toxic free, low in solvents, nearly odourless and no need sanding between the layers. ecoSHIELD satisfies the current environmental and safety regulations and it is safe to use both indoors and outdoors.

Long-lasting protection ecoSHIELD is a user-friendly coating, which may be applied safely without dilution using a brush, a mohair paint roller and spray gun. Provides first-rate cover, does not run on vertical surfaces and has a nice glossy finish without drips. Due to the small amount of solvent in ecoSHIELD (94 % solid substance), the thickness of an applied wet layer is virtually the same as a dry layer. Evaporation loss is minimal. If ecoSHIELD is applied as directed, it will function for years and will offer a long-lasting protection, both below and above water.

ecoSHIELD have been subjected to extensive testing in compliance with the requirements through the advanced research body of TNO Industry (Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research Industry) and the Centrum voor Onderzoek en Technisch advies (COT; Centre for Research and Technical Consultancy).
